Frequently Asked Questions

The earlier the better to be honest. I tend to book dates between 9 months and two years out depending on the time of year and the location. I would strongly encourage anyone planning a wedding to reach out sooner rather than later because letting people know I am not available to capture their awesome wedding is the worst part of my job by far.
None of us like that feeling – myself included. However you’re in luck because I’m really good at helping couples have the confidence to simply be themselves. We will get past that inevitable awkwardness quickly because my approach is so calm and relaxed. At the end of the day, I promise you’ll be telling me how easy it was.
My wedding packages start at $4200. I have two main packages to choose from (7 and 9 hours) which covers most wedding timelines well. If your plans differ from this, let’s come up with a custom package together. Make sure to enquire here and I can get you all the right information.
A truck load. I counted it up the other day and it’s well over 400 so far. That’s a whole lot of love and wild partying that’s made it’s way into my cameras.
I’ve been a full time professional photographer since 2012. I’ve been really lucky to be able to simply focus on weddings for the majority of my time as a professional photographer. I find the sweet spot is about 35-40 weddings per year.
I send a sneak-peek gallery to you a few days after the wedding so you have something to share. Everything else is delivered digitally approximately 4-6 weeks later. If it’s the busy end of a wedding season, this will possibly take a bit longer but I try to keep everyone in the loop regarding my progress where possible.
I’m based in Wagga Wagga NSW and travel far and wide all the time. I’ve photographed weddings in Melbourne, Geelong, Mornington, Dandenong Ranges, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Canberra, Gundaroo, Brisbane, Noosa, New Zealand (North and South Islands), Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Southern Highlands, Riverina, Country Victoria, Remote parts of NSW, Broken Hill, Silverton, Dubbo, Griffith, Hay, Jervis Bay, Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, Merimbula, Mt. Hotham, Thredbo, Lake Crackenback, Wandilligong, Jindabyne, Bright, Bendigo, Wangaratta, King Valley, Mudgee, Rutherglen, Albury-Wodonga, Mildura, Kangaroo Valley, Geehi Flats, NSW North Coast, Nangus, Gundagai, Tumut and everywhere in between…
We can do it if you’re super-keen but unless you have a huge amount of guests (like more than 300), you really don’t need it. I generally work best on my own as it gives me complete access to what’s happening around me without worrying about the other photographer being in the background of my shots! Sometimes I will recommend one if you are getting ready a long way away from your partner but most of the time we can make it work anyway.
In the unlikely event that this happens, I’ll do everything I can to make sure there is a suitable replacement photographer, though I have never missed a wedding in over 12 years. Either I am made of steel and/or I am really lucky.
Yeah absolutely! Obviously I have worked with heaps and heaps of them so I can certainly word you up on who cuts the mustard. It’s also helpful to have someone who meshes in with my relaxed approach so you feel like having both photography and video doesn’t complicate the day too much.
I’ve been a Canon shooter the entire time I have been a professional because I love the prime lenses, the natural colours of the files and most importantly how tough-as-nails everything is. If I find myself in ridiculous weather, I know I can rely on my gear to get the job done. I always bring three of everything to a wedding in case something breaks or fails. I also have an extremely robust backup system that ensures the loss of data is extremely unlikely.
Honestly, I can’t think of anything I’d rather do. If your package covers it, I will be in the middle of the action, making sure every single bad dance decision your friends make is documented for all time.
For real, I’m up for whatever you want to throw at me. If you wanna include some activities in your wedding day that help you express yourselves, you can count on me being there to point a camera at it.
Absolutely. Our books are next level. Check out the video and info on this page.
Count me in 100% for sure. As far as I am concerned, little weddings and elopements are my favourite type of day hands down, no matter where you want to do it. Enquire here and tell me as much as you can. I will work out a custom option for you based on your unique plans.
