When I had my first chat with these two in the thick of the Covid19 lockdown, I figured out two things pretty quickly… Firstly they are 100% my kind of people. This I knew straight away. We were joking around in the first 60 seconds. It’s hard not to because they’re both such positive personalities. They made me feel better about my day. I freaking love that. Secondly, they must really, really like each other having spent endless weeks quarantined in a Melbourne apartment adhering to strict AFL bubble rules. I can’t even imagine what that was like.

Fast forward through what seems like an absolute eternity to another time where nobody gives a single crap about Covid19 anymore and it’s party time at St. Edwards baby! Thank goodness for that, because the good old wedding scene has been on a bit of a downer for a few years thanks to the pandemic and the insane rules we’ve all been living by. At last, the day arrived and even though it was a bit rainy, it couldn’t have been better. Every moment was better than the last.

I’ll never forget the way Harry’s face did some strange things as Chelsea appeared at the end of the aisle. Let’s be honest though, It’s not that unusual for a Groom to crack up a bit. But I could tell, this was a touch more than that. This was everything they dreamed it would be. The perfect moment in the perfect location with the perfect bunch of legends to witness it all. Add to that a party that would knock anyone’s socks clean off. Clearly it was worth the wait.

I went home absolutely spent from this one. There were so many amazing moments, it was beyond freaking overwhelming to say the least. This is why I do what I do. Sometimes I need reminding that even though it’s not easy to tackle weddings all year, I’m pretty good at it. I look back over the pictures and wonder how the hell I managed to jam so much love onto my memory cards. As they say, where theres a will, theres a way. And there’s plenty of that inside me yet.

This is Harry and Chelsea. What a day. What a night.

Press play! Everything is better with music.

P.S. Thanks Megsy for seconding on this one. You’re way better than you think you are xoxo
