I remember so many moments from James and Anna’s incredible day at All Saints Estate, but the main one that sticks out was the way they put all the cards on the table in their speeches to each other at the reception. I was in awe at the certainty of their words and next level self-awareness of not just the obvious things like the the time and place but also the love and respect they have for each other as individuals.
I have to say when I look back at the photos that glue the story together, I’m super proud of the moments I got into the camera on this one. Some of that comes from my curiosity but most of it comes from the people present and how willing they are to let it all out. I can only photograph what’s in front of me and there was plenty of emotion on show all day long. These are the days that truly blow me away. A big bunch of people supporting and celebrating the start of such an important journey while the main characters give everything they’ve got all day long.
