It’s January 2018 and I’m standing on my cabin balcony on Lake Macquarie talking to Amelia. I’m on a family holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of the central coast and it’s sunny outside, the kind of afternoon you remember from summer holidays as a kid. Amelia is telling me all about Wade, her wedding, her family. She’s pretty excited about her big day. It all sounds like my kind of scene and I’m excited too. Amelia sounds like my kind of Bride. We’re both laughing a lot about weddings and how silly they can get. In a lot of ways I think I’m pretty lucky to connect with such like minded people.
People who care more about what they’re actually doing on their wedding day than if the dress gets some dust on it. Fast forward to the wedding day itself and by the time I get to the girls in the morning, I feel like I’ve known them all for ages. Everything is easy. And that’s how it should be. The moments flow, the story takes on it’s own personality and I just point a camera at it all. Thanks for having me Wade and Millie.
You guys are the best xo.
